Writing Challenge- Day 28
Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your own mind. If we follow the truth, it will bring us out safe at last. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
When did you feel most alive recently? Where were you? What did you smell? What sights and sounds did you experience? Capture that moment on paper and recall that feeling. Then, when it’s time to create something, read your own words to reclaim a sense of being to motivate you to complete a task at hand.
(Author: Sam Davidson)
I feel most alive when I am writing. The times I get my best writing done is usually late at night when everyone is in bed and the house is completely quiet. I sit in my office, reflect upon the events of the day, my thoughts and my place. I feel the cool breeze coming through the window, which sits perfectly in front of my desk. The dark swaying trees outside my window keep me focused, as the cool breeze reminds me about the beauty of breath and life. I hesitate for a few seconds and then I simply start typing and this is when I feel the most alive.
