Writing Challenge- Day 16
When good is near you, when you have life in yourself, it is not by any known or accustomed way; you shall not discern the foot-prints of any other; you shall not see the face of man; you shall not hear any name;—— the way, the thought, the good, shall be wholly strange and new. – Ralph Waldo Emerson
Can you remember a moment in your life when you had life in yourself and it was wholly strange and new? Can you remember the moment when you stopped walking a path of someone else, and started cutting your own?
Write about that moment. And if you haven’t experienced it yet, let the miracle play out in your mind’s eye and write about that moment in your future.

The magical feeling of feeling inspired and creating really great work, what an amazing natural high. Sometimes it comes from hearing a wonderful speaker, talking to a friend (or stranger), reading a great book or story, hearing a song, or simply stopping to feel the breeze. Inspiration to do great work can come from anywhere, the trick is to be open to these moments and to then listen to your inner voice and take hold of your idea. To really do this, you have to listen, really listen and then act and do the work … these moments of clarity can reveal your true purpose and direction. If you have not felt one of these moments, I hope you start listening because they are everywhere and they will help you get to that place you have been searching for.
Just the other night, I heard someone’s story of the place they got to, I went to the book store the next morning and bought a book relevant to my latest project (Healing with Whole Foods), I went to my desk, opened the window and starting typing. It was amazingly productive.
Tell me about your moments of inspiration and clarity … or better yet, just go have one, feel inspired or inspire someone else to go have one.
